Ideation has been completed and while we are in the process of circuit design and filing for IP protection, we actively seek potential collaborators to realize this on silicon.


Its small area footprint and simple architecture allows time interleaving of multiple ADCs for Gsps operations typically needed for 5G single chip communications radio transceivers.

Humming Bird

Humming Bird is a collaborative program with a premier Analog Integrated Circuit Foundry to develop a Time of Flight IP solution using the Fab’s newly developed high speed SPAD. (Single Photon Avalanche Diode).


Capable of 2.5 Mega-captures per second with a 10-bits 25ps resolution, it is highly suitable for many distance ranging applications that require a very small product outline, replacing bulky discrete based solutions of the day.


The solution will encompass all critical analog blocks required for Vcsel pulsing, time to digital conversion using an integrated SPAD, enabling a “drop in sensor solution” with customer's own ASIC integration.

Our latest project is currently in Ideation phase and we are developing the basic piece parts to achieve proof of concept and viability. We have in mind a disruptive technology that can change the way power devices are utilized in the electrification of mobility devices; increasing density of integration for higher reliability and better efficiency.

We have started small but by no means trivial; collaborated and helped a Chinese company based in Shen Zhen to architect and design a low distortion 50 MHz Power Line Driver chip custom specified to China’s Broadband PLC AMR Standards. This was achieved in a low cost CMOS Process and the design’s unique power front end enabled low distortion transmission with load currents as high as 1 Ap-p. The device is production ready and in market sampling phase.  - October 2019
